I love Kennan and Ellis so much! The way Keenan is such a good Alpha, taking care of his Omega, is just beautiful! I loved seeing them as brothers, the closeness and the trust. And when the opportunity came to become MORE, they took it and ran.
Ellis. Yes, he’s a bit spoiled haha, but he knows it. He also knows that Kennan loves him with all his heart, and he isn’t ashamed of their love. Ellis is allowed to be an omega, letting his alpha protect and provide for him. And Keenan is more than willing!
I love how Kennan is a natural protector of his mate, takes care of his needs- no matter the sacrifice. Keenan accepts full responsibility for their mating, and it genuinely makes him happy. I just love their whole dynamic- brothers, lovers, mates.
The whole story was wonderful, and I loved seeing Shiloh and Riley again- I love them so much! As I’ve already read the Cursed Omega’s Second Chance, it made me smile to read the bits with Jaiden and Locke. I think it made this book just that much more enjoyable, knowing what comes next.

This is one of the authors I never doubt will provide a meaningful story. A story with intense emotional content both on the surface and below the lines. So beneath the usual spice, heat and fun hides a world of thought provoking questions – how much is too much in a brotherly relationship, how close is too close, where does friendship end and deeper feelings begin and when the lines finally blur abd will anyone be hurt at the end!?! This is one of the sweetest taboo omegaverse stories, I’ve had the pleasure of reading, a full 3-course delicious feast – from the appetizers to dessert in typical Odessa’s style, or in our case, from the deep, all-consuming love of the eldest brother, devoted to spoil the youngest child in the family through the fierce, intense feeling of contentment and happiness that builds between the two brothers as the youngest grows, to the realization that the special bond they have shared and nurtured over these years goes far beyond brotherly affection. And while the book is focused on Keenan and Ellis in their transition from being brothers to mates, there is an additional plot line in the process of development, that’s also interesting to follow and a solid promise for a lot more surprises to come!

This has quickly become a favorite series of mine. I was so excited to read this that I bought it from Odessa’s website early!
I was excited to read about Keenan and Ellis’s route to mate hood as soon as it was teased in book one, as they were so adamant that a bond would never hold unless feelings were involved prior. I was surprised but delighted to find out about their relationship dynamic from their point of view. They both gave it the ‘old college try’ to keep their urges contained, but once the decision was made and the foundation laid for the mate bite there was no turning back. And really, there’s no one else for these two but each other. Keenan doesn’t really see anyone or care for anyone else more than Ellis and Ellis is a saucy little spit fire who can only be banked by Keenan. Just another situation of ‘right mate, wrong family’ (or right family if you ask the brothers). Watch out, Keenan’s got a mouth on him but Ellis isn’t complaining!
I was excited to see the plot moving forward at the end with Locke and Jaiden, hopefully they will get their own book and we will get to read their story!
